Anna Lamadrid is an actor/writer born in Caracas, Venezuela. A military brat by proxy, she lived all over the east coast before settling in NY to study with acclaimed Meisner teacher, Maggie Flanigan.
While in NY, she collaborated with Flux Ensemble, INTAR, Wreckio, The Lark and more developing and performing new works including the NY premiere of Tanya Saracho’s Enfrascada for Clubbed Thumb.
She received her MFA from the University of Washington and wrote two solo pieces during her time there: The Oxy Complex and In My Veins.
LA Theatre: West Coast Premiere of Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Boops (Theatre @ Boston Court), As You Like It (Antaeus Theatre), World Premiere of Boni Alvarez’s Fixed (Echo Theatre) and understudied Dorothy Fortenberry’s Species Native to California (IAMA).
